- Caption
- In 1961, artist James A. Porter studied fresco mural painting at the Instituto Allende, San Miguel de Allende, in Mexico. While there, he produced this black and white lithograph depicting a vignette of three men huddled around a table with a long white tablecloth. The man on the right is seated in profile in a high-backed chair, resting his hand on the table and speaking to the others. The figures at the left and center wear serious expressions, leaning in with eyebrows furrowed, indicating deep concentration. The dark background creates a somber atmosphere for this meeting.
