- 'Waterways and Green Spaces: Earth Day, East of the River' focused on measures taken to address threats to the natural environment of Washington D.C.'s east of the river community. The discussion included 'The Life of the Anacostia River' by Jim Connelly from the Anacostia Watershed Society, and 'Preserving Fort Circle Parks' by Steven Syphax from the National Park Service.
