Families

Families are able to enjoy many educational and cultural offerings at the museum. Throughout the year, tours of exhibitions are given to both small family groups and larger reunion gatherings. Family history sessions, with a focus on research, are offered to those interested in documenting personal history. Other events include the annual Mardi Gras arts festival, Kwanzaa activities, storytelling, a nature trail walk, dramatic presentations, and a hands-on musical series
