Community Documentation Center


The Community Documentation Center is an ongoing, comprehensive research and documentation initiative to gather, organize, and make accessible to the public historical and contemporary information on the social and economic life and development of communities east of the Anacostia River (EOR). The Center builds on the research and collections of objects and archival materials on east of the River communities amassed since the opening of the museum in 1967.
